'Little Caterpillar'

Wubs found a fuzzy caterpillar in our backyard this weekend. She named him 'Little Caterpillar'. Bella didn't want to get too close while Wubs was holding her new friend, so I don't have any pictures of Bella with 'Little Caterpillar'! wink!

Here are some pictures of the girls staying cool in their pool! Daddy read his textbook in a lawnchair while the girls splashed. After we came inside and dried off, the girls were sleepy from playing outside. I decided to put both girls down for a nap. Bella went to sleep wearing only her diaper. About 30 minutes later, Bella was calling, "Maaaammmmaaaaa! Uh oooooh!" That's strange. Bella hasn't ever said that during naptime before. I opened Bella's door to find a completely naked little girl, standing in a puddle of tinkle in her crib. *Note to self: Never again put Bella to bed without clothes on to cover her diaper. wink.

Bella's surgery

Bella had tubes put in her little ears last Thursday morning, and she is doing great! She has developed a new dislike for our vacuum cleaner (it must sound very loud now) and she is talking a lot more already! Some of her new words include, "soda!", "Bub-bo"(Wubs), "Bay-Ah" (Bella), "socks", "side"(go outside), and "bay nee" (blankie). We are so thankful that God has healed Bella, and we are excited that she can hear so much better now!

Bella giving daddy a 'snug' after he returned home from our church golf tournament. Emma Grace always gives daddy a 'snug and a sugar' and Bella is learning from her big sister! (Bella's sugars are much wetter though. wink!)

Our dear friend, Ms. Daphne, came to visit Bella after her surgery, and she brought her doggie Maddie as a special treat. Emma Grace and Bella loooove doggies. Emma Grace is often telling us that she wants a 'real doggie'. Wubs loved taking Maddie for a walk, but as you can see, I think Maddie was walking Wubs!

Cutting and gluing

Today Wubs had fun making a flower craft with mommy. She enjoyed cutting with her little scissors and she loooooved using the glue. (Note to self- glue sticks would be a great investment and far less messy. wink!) Here are some pictures of her project. She told me that her flower is a surprise for daddy. "When daddy gets home, I'm going to say 'SURPRISE' really loud. And he will love it!" Wubs paused and wrinkled up her eyebrows. "Is Daddy at his work?" Yes, Daddy is at the YMCA. "He will be so excited when he gets home!!!"

Sour candy

"Hmmm... I've never had sour candy before. How very peculiar."
"Wait a minute. This is not as delicious as it appeared to be. Let me inspect it...""Mommy, you can have it. I think I'll stick with chocolate."

"Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble."- 1 Peter 3:8

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! This morning was filled with excitement at our house! The Easter Bunny came while we were sleeping, and he left Wubs and Bella some special treats. Daddy helped Emma Grace open her new Pet Shops Clubhouse. After playing with a few new toys and eating a candy breakfast (wink) we went to church and celebrated our living Savior! He is risen!

Last night our homegroup had an Easter egg hunt in our backyard.

Here are a few pictures of our snuggle bunnies! Bella loves to climb into Emma Grace's bed to read stories. ( Notice how Bella's book is upside down! giggle) Soon Bella will be hearing those stories even more clearly, as she is scheduled to get tubes in her little ears this Thursday.

"Don't be alarmed," he said. "You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter, 'He is going ahead of you into Galielee. There you will see him, just as he told you.'- Mark 16:6-7

Sunshine fun

Wubs helps daddy wash our vehicles!
"Mommy, we made your car so sparkly!"
Bella loves to swing.
It wasn't quite warm enough for swimming suits,
but we still had fun with the sprinkler!

Princess Sleepover

On Friday night, there was a Princess Sleepover at our church. We enjoyed dress up, fingernail painting, dancing, and learning about being daughters of the King! Emma Grace especially enjoyed the game stations, and Bella loved the cupcakes and music. It's so fun to have little girls! (We didn't spend the night this time...we opted to come home and spend time with daddy!)
