Happy Easter! What a beautiful weekend God gave us, as we celebrated the resurrection of Jesus! Grandpa and Grandma came to North Carolina to spend the holiday at our house. We stayed busy, attending our church's Easter drama on Friday night, enjoying an Easter egg hunt on Saturday morning, having a picnic at the park, and going out for some ice-cream! On Easter, we went to church and then after lunch, we celebrated Grandpa's 70th birthday together. We made lots of special memories! Wubs loved the Easter egg hunt! She was especially excited about the rings and candy inside her eggs. (Wubs gave her stickers and tatoos to Bella. Before Bella's bath on Saturday night, she could have been mistaken for a 2 year old 'biker chick'. Ha ha!)
Bella and mommy. Wubs and Grandma. Wubs and her precious friend, Virginia. There were sheep at the egg hunt, too! Some were inside the pen and some were roaming free! Wubs and Grandpa at Goodberrys, enjoying some ice-cream. Grandma and Bella. Family portrait on Easter Sunday! "But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." '-2 Corinthians 12:9
Oh Sarah I will try, you're sweet for asking ... I got sick when I got home from NC, then allergies kicked in and I feel about as far from photogenic as possible. I'll try to suck it up and take some this week. :) Glad you guys had such a wonderful Easter weekend!
I am so glad you posted pics of David's family - now I have faces in my head of what they look like! I love your family portrait - you all are so beautiful! So did the roaming sheep leave some eggstra surprises on the ground?!?! heheee Love you best friend. PS _ The strawberries are beautiful - your blog is so springtime!
