Duke

Our family recieved a special treat this week! For four days, we had the opportunity to 'dogsit' for a sweet boy named Duke. The girls loved walking him, feeding him treats, and playing with him. It took Bella a little over a day to warm up to such a big doggie, but once she realized Duke had no intentions of eating her, she loved to pet him and touch his nose. Wubs proudly announced to everyone we saw at the YMCA, church, and Wal-Mart, "We have a new dog named Duke!"

"Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us."- Romans 5:3-5

  2. Rusty left Duke a message, but then I told him that Duke was no longer living at you house. He thought I said 'no longer living.' and didn't hear the 'at your house' part. So that message was one of grief. hehehee
